Purchasing A Blackberry – A Smart Investment That Goes A Long Way
If you are considering purchasing a Blackberry Smartphone, then take a look at this guide on making the purchase. You will want to brush up on all of your knowledge of Blackberry’s before you go out and spend upwards of $300 on one. It’s definitely an investment, but it is a smart investment for most people that really goes a long way. I am on my first Blackberry (an 8700) and I absolutely love it and cannot wait to make my first upgrade in the not too distant future.
First of all, three new models came out recently, the Blackberry Storm, Bold, and Curve, so you need to brush up on these models if this is your first Blackberry. There are many articles related to these models that you can check out in order to learn about them all, but basically the Blackberry Storm is a touch screen phone, the Bold is a spiced up version of the 8700, and the Curve is basically a straight upgrade from the 8700 (Same features, new look.) You wouldn’t want to rush out and buy the Storm without researching it because if you didn’t want a touch screen phone, guess what you just ended up with?
Blackberry’s are an awesome choice if you need to have access to your email on the go, or anywhere. You can program multiple email accounts for the Blackberry’s and the email will be send both to your computer and your phone. The full keyboard makes it fast and easy to text back an email to the recipient very quickly and efficiently.
I highly recommend purchasing a Blackberry Smartphone if you need access to your email from anywhere, or if you just want to have a really cool phone that has a lot of really awesome and useful features.
Blackberry Curve – New Blackberry, Same Great Phone
The Blackberry Curve is one of the 3 new Smartphone’s released by Blackberry just recently, and is one amazing phone indeed. I believe that this is the one that is exclusive to T-Mobile, and if that is indeed the case, then unless you are on a T-Mobile plan, you will need to purchase an unlocked version in order to use it.
The Curve is very similar to the 8700 series; it’s basically just a straight upgrade from it. But it’s a good upgrade, no doubt! As far as the dimensions of the phone, they have slimmed it down from the 8700 series slightly, so it’s still as wide as the old models, but it is not quite as bulky. You can also get it in a very hot looking red, and I have to say, Blackberry’s in red look real, real good.
If you’re a heavy app user on the Blackberry, you will want to upgrade to this version, especially if you are still on the old 8700 series. The newer apps are not compatible with the older models anymore, and so if you want to use something such as Pandora Radio on your Blackberry, or anything else that’s rather new, chances are you need to upgrade.
The Blackberry Curve is definitely worth an upgrade, it’s a new Blackberry Smartphone, with the same great Blackberry features you’ve come to know and love. If you were a fan of the 8700 series, then you’ll be glad to know that it’s basically a straight upgrade from it, they haven’t messed around with the design or features too much (if it’s not broken don’t fix it, they say.)
Blackberry Bold – New Model, New OS, Same Great Blackberry
AT&T is the proud exclusive carrier of what I think is probably the best Blackberry model ever, the Blackberry Bold. It is a new model, with a new OS, and features the same great Blackberry features you have come to know and love. Though it is exclusive to AT&T, it is possible to get an unlocked version and use it through other wireless providers.
The Bold just looks really sexy in my opinion. It’s one of those phones that you see someone carrying, and you’re like, “That guy is somebody important.” You know what I mean?
The Bold model also features a built in GPS system, which is good for keeping you on the road and not lost.
The best thing about the Bold in my opinion is that it just flat out freshens up the Blackberry system. The operating system looks different with this model, and actually to me looks quite a bit more sophisticated. I am a big fan of this model.
If you like your current Blackberry, you’ll definitely be happy with a Bold model. It would just look good on you first of all, along with the fact that is has the GPS feature, as well as a spiced up OS, it’s the way to go in my opinion.
You are also able to put your iTunes music collection on the Blackberry Bold, so I mean, really, what else do you need? It’s just a really great phone that has a lot of really useful, and fun features. This will be the next phone that I get, and since I wont need my iPod anymore, I’ll be selling that, and will actually end up saving money in the long run.
Blackberry Storm – Bringing Touch Screen Awesomeness To Your Blackberry
The blackberry is a great phone that has really made its presence known since its arrival several years ago. With that same presence has come a number of different models for the Blackberry Smartphone, of those models, the Blackberry Storm has come out just recently.
Now the Storm takes a totally new approach to the Blackberry in the fact that it uses the touch screen technology. It keeps all of your old favorite features, but almost all of the navigation is done via the touch screen.
Some people will love this feature and will come over to Blackberry’s service because of it, while others may actually hate the new feature. Fortunately, for those people, they have the Blackberry Bold and Curve models to go to, which feature many of the same features as the older models.
The downside is that the Blackberry Storm model is only available through the Verizon Wireless network, but unlocked models are being sold online and will work with all the other networks. If you do have Verizon Wireless, the Storm may be something you want to look into getting, especially if you’re a fan of the iPhone, as it brings a lot of the same features over.
The Blackberry Storm Smartphone is a new model of the Blackberry franchise that brings touch screen navigation over to the Blackberry. Can it compare to the iPhone? That is for you to decide, but it is certainly going to give it a run for its money. Enjoy all of your old favorite Blackberry apps, along with fresh new features on an awesome new Blackberry Storm.
