The Bold - New Model, New OS, Same Great Blackberry

AT&T is the proud exclusive carrier of what I think is probably the best Blackberry model ever, the Blackberry Bold. It is a new model, with a new OS, and features the same great Blackberry features you have come to know and love. Though it is exclusive to AT&T, it is possible to get an unlocked version and use it through other wireless providers.

The Bold just looks really sexy in my opinion. It’s one of those phones that you see someone carrying, and you’re like, “That guy is somebody important.” You know what I mean?
The Bold model also features a built in GPS system, which is good for keeping you on the road and not lost.

The best thing about the Bold in my opinion is that it just flat out freshens up the Blackberry system. The operating system looks different with this model, and actually to me looks quite a bit more sophisticated. I am a big fan of this model.
If you like your current Blackberry, you’ll definitely be happy with a Bold model. It would just look good on you first of all, along with the fact that is has the GPS feature, as well as a spiced up OS, it’s the way to go in my opinion.

You are also able to put your iTunes music collection on the Blackberry Bold, so I mean, really, what else do you need? It’s just a really great phone that has a lot of really useful, and fun features. This will be the next phone that I get, and since I wont need my iPod anymore, I’ll be selling that, and will actually end up saving money in the long run.

How To Unlock The Blackberry Pearl

Ever own a phone and want to switch providers? Well that happens quite often. The problem is the new provider won’t activate your competitor phone and ask that you buy a new one. The guys at GSM Phone Source have an answer. These guys provide you with remote unlocking of the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 and also the BlackBerry Pearl 8700g.

How it works is pretty simple. You pay for the unlocking service, and when you submit your order, you must include the IMEI number for the Blackberry you are unlocking in the notes section when you are making the Paypal payment. The IMEI Number can be obtained when you enter *#06# from your phone’s keypad, it will display a 15 digit number ( If you have trouble obtaining the IMEI this way you can also find the IMEI number in the Status menu ). Once your order is processed and unlock code is ready, you will be emailed with an unlock code and instructions on how to enter it.

Models supported, including but not limited to are the 8100, Pearl, 8700g, 5xxx Series, 6xxx Series, 7xxx Series.

You have to pay $35 for their service and the turnaround time is usually less than 24 hours.

Blackberry Storm - What The Celebrities Are Carrying

Many movie stars and musicians are sporting the Storm now. Many have switched from the iPhone to the Storm because it is the must have and must be seen with phone. Have you ever fancied giving Hollywood stars such as Jessica Simpson, Nick Cannon or even Salma Hayek a call? Maybe picking up your BlackBerry and knowing you had A-list Hollywood celebrities at your fingertips would make you smile?

You can find a variety of phones on Ebay, but there have been recent postings of Blackberry’s with celebrity numbers included. If you are a celebrity fan and fancy owning a BlackBerry which claims to also have the private numbers of Diddy, Ashley Olsen, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton stored in it, then log onto the eBay website and see what is still available. When I looked last it was for sale for $2,000, the seller is supposedly a hack who is not revealing his name for obvious reasons.

John Mayer was one of the first people walking around with a BlackBerry Bold. He even blogged about unboxing it when he got it back in mid-May. Well, it would appear that Mr. Mayer has moved on from the Bold and on to the BlackBerry Storm.

Many folks want to feel a part of the in crowd. You can also start your own celebrity list on your new phone. There are many apps that you can download that will help you keep track of and blog with your favorite actors, singers and superstars. You can even download the latest Twitter application and know exactly what your favorite Twit is doing at any given moment!

Which Blackberry Is Like The iPhone?

Blackberry’s are wonderful phones that do a lot of great things. On the contrary, the iPhone is also an amazing fun that also has a lot of capabilities. Which one should you go for? They both do generally the same thing, right? In some cases, yes this is the case, but not always. So let’s compare these two giants to see what’s best for you.
As both a Blackberry and an iPhone user myself, I can use my personal experiences to support this article. For business purposes, the Blackberry is the way to go. Yes, the iPhone does support email, but the problem is that it’s touch screen, and sometimes this ends up not being very practical in the long run. So if you need a good business phone, then the Blackberry is what you want.
What the iPhone is good for is more casual phone users who would like to have access to their email. The iPhone also makes for a great way to combine a phone and an iPod together. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of the iPhone. I mean, is it a great phone? Yes, it is, but it’s just not very practical. I mean, you’re sitting there jamming out to some hardcore music, and then your mother calls you right in the middle of the song. It’s just not my thing, but it IS a good phone with high-quality features.
As far as Blackberry v. iPhone goes, I have to say that the winner is undoubtedly the Blackberry. If you need a good phone for your business, then you need to go with the Blackberry. But if you want a casual phone to just enjoy, then the iPhone may be your best bet.
